Brewing beer from grain is easier than many people make out! And much more rewarding than making it from kits. You have complete flexibility over the colour, flavour, bitterness and other characteristics, so with experience you will be able to brew exactly the taste and style of beer you prefer.

While you gain that experience, you can still make superb beers following one of our simple recipes! We have put together this kit of all the equipment you will need, PLUS all the ingredients for your first 40 pint brew.

Choose between either a fruity bitter (summer ale) - golden in colour and full of citrus flavours, a session bitter (based on Timothy Taylor's) - an easy-drinking bitter, or a porter - with a full (but not burnt) flavour and a good, dark colour.
