Woodforde’s Wherry BitterNamed after the unique sailing barges which were once common on the Norfolk waterways, Woodforde’s Wherry Bitter is an amber coloured, smooth beer with a distinctively hoppy nose and a well balanced palate. Its flowery, hoppy character and long-lasting, wonderfully bitter aftertaste makes it a favourite with real ale drinkers. Wherry Bitter won CAMRA’s hotly contested “Champion New Brewery Beer of Britain” Award in 1990/91. Made with the brewery’s own choice of hops, this beer will compare most favourably to it’s commercial equivalent.
