Milestone’s Old Home Wrecker Real Ale Winter Ale

The milestone Brewery sits on the edge of the historic Great North Road, 130 miles north of London between the market towns of Newark and Retford. This is an area steeped in history where the infamous highwaymen Dick Turpin and Swift Nick Nevison would have stopped off for ale in one of the many coaching inns. The brewery uses traditional based recipes, the finest ingredients and the best available equipment and technology.

The premium boiled malt extracts are made from simply malted barley and water. The premium malted barley varieties used are Maris Otter, Crystal and Roasted, depending on the recipe. English 2 Row malted barley, Maris Otter, has a strong reputation for producing the finest quality ale for all-grain brewers.

This excellent 3kg (two-can) 'Real Ale' kit of Old Home Wrecker Winter Ale requires no additional sugar (except for priming), and is described as a 'full bodied winter ale packed full of flavour'.
